We have around five hundred members scattered across the world. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or just setting out to look for your ancestors why not join our international community of members and share your research journey with us?
Our focus is the area encompassed by the boundaries of the modern day City of Sheffield and includes some places that were once in North Derbyshire. We are a member of the national Family History Federation and one of three family history societies that between us cover the whole of South Yorkshire, the southern part of England’s largest county.
