• Sheffield Burial Index (Churches) This search covers burials in most of the churchyards in Sheffield, and also includes All Saints' Rotherham (1830 - 1854) and St Mary, Greasbrough (1813 - 1858), in total over 250,000 records.
• Sheffield Municipal Cemeteries Burial Index  This search covers burials in Attercliffe Municipal Cemetery Nov 1859 - Nov 1960 - Darnall Cemetery Aug 1859 - July 1901 - Revel Lane Cemetery, Woodhouse 1875 - 1949 and Tinsley Park Cemetery June 1882 - July1973
• St Michael’s Roman Catholic Burial Ground 1862 – 2004

Cost of each service
The fee for each individual search service is £1 for each surname to be searched for members of the Sheffield & District FHS (£3 per surname searched for non-members) for up to 5 printed pages of results. If you require variants of surnames then the fee is £1 (£3 non-members) for each variant to be searched. Please do not expect the person making the search to think of variants for you.
If you require a search for a common surname e.g. Green or Smith then you are advised to provide forenames where possible (This is to limit the costs to you - there are 25 pages of entries for the surname Green within the 1861 census index)
You will receive a print out of the surname you requested up to a maximum of 5 printed A4 pages. If the search should produce more than 5 pages you will be notified with the first part of your order.

How to Order
Print out the order form below.  Complete the details requested on the form and send it to the address indicated at the bottom of the form. If you are a member of the society please remember to state your membership number - without it you will be charged at the non-member rate of £3 per surname.
Please enclose a Large stamped, self addressed envelope, at least size DL (110mm by 220mm) along with you order form, plus an extra 2nd class stamp (plus an extra ICR for overseas search requests) per surname to cover postage. (Any unused stamps will be returned to you with your order)
